First day: 7 hours tour
This city in Russian subtropics is often called Greater Sochi because of its considerable extension along the Black Sea coast. While en-route we will do some stops for pleasant walks and photo taking. I will show you the best of Sochi – the Seaport terminal, one of the Europe’s nicest railway buildings, the St. Michael’s, the Stalinesque Empire –style buildings and the modern ones. Sochi is also famous for Matsesta water, which are curative mineral springs and balneal-complexes. After that you are going to visit Mount Akhun, the highest point within the city limits or Stalin’s villa as an option. All in all you are going to visit 3 districts of Sochi. One of them has waterfalls. So, an eco-path of 300 m, the 1st in the history of Sochi official tourist path since 1911, would be a nice supplement to a city tour to enjoy a piece of west-Caucasian virgin nature.
We will top it up with a wine-and honey tasting followed by dinner in a Georgian-style restaurant in Agura valley.
Second day: 8 hours tour
Krasnaya Polyana is a unique place in Greater Sochi situated 60 km away from the city centre, in the west-Caucasian mountains at an altitude of 663 meters above sea level. It is located on the banks of the most turbulent river surrounded by high picturesque mountains.
There is a mountain Olympic cluster with ski slopes and the Mountain Olympic Village there. I will take you through some districts of Sochi to get to the mountains, to see the Olympic legacy and will tell you about the history, flora and fauna of Caucuses, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery, take a ride by a cable car to the tops of the mountains. On the way back there is a breathtaking Sky bridge for a skywalk, zip line, Sochi-swing or bungee-jump. There is an ancient cave on the way to this attraction. You will be really impressed by your tour, because it is originally prepared by the best Guide in Sochi - Marina Udovichenko.
